Description Maintenance Technician (Hourly) – Pilgrim's Location: Mount Pleasant, Texas
Schedule: Must be able to work assigned days/shifts, including some weekends
Compensation: $20.25 - $33.00+/hr based on experience

At Pilgrim's, Safety Is A Condition — the safety of our team members comes first, always. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the reliability, performance, and safety of our production equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
- Identify parts or machines needing repair or replacement
- Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments accurately
- Interpret equipment drawings to properly adjust, maintain, or repair machinery
- Respond promptly to production requests when mechanical issues arise
- Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, managing both time and resources effectively
Educational Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Maintenance experience required
Basic Skills & Qualifications - Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
- General math skills required to perform job duties
- Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, and schematics
- Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, including some weekends
